Movie Contact Lenses
So what basically is a movie contact lens? Well, its not some special company or brand, its just an accumalation of all special affects lenses, that are used in various kinds of movies. These lenses can also be called as crazy contact lenses, special fx contact lenses, patterned/designed contact lenses etc as they all come under the one main category of movie contact lenses. If you see movies like, “Dracula”, “Twilight”, “Chronicles of Riddick” you will have noticed the eye color that the characters don on to give the right kind of look. Such lenses are not any ordinary, branded company colored lenses but specially made contact lenses, that are used solely for cosmetic purposes.
The glowing red eye of Riddick, the werewolfish eyes, the vampire, zombie eyes etc require special work to be done, and sometimes the lenses are also designed by hand, which is needed to give the right kind of pattern. These lenses though look very attractive are in real, of not much use, and could cause potential harm, if proper care is not taken. Not everyone is able to wear them and that too for a long period of time. Celebrities dont have to wear that 24/7 so its not much of a problem for them, but for a regular user, movie contact lenses are not recommended unless there is some kind of special ocassion. Instead you can always opt for branded and naturally made color contact lenses that could provide more comfort than these movie contact lenses.
